Our set experience was incredible. Istanbul is a melting pot and Cappadocia is like the moon or a Star Wars Movie.... Turkish people are very proud about their country. Friendly, polite, professional and very hard on business....I am very proud about the personal relations we developed during the course of this shoot. Also about the success of shooting in 3 different places every day and in all the locations asked by the direction team. It was a very big and difficult production but FPS crew was great! We had a delay to release the equipment to make it for the first day of the shoot, in less than 24 hours FPS could rent new equipment and crew bringing them to Cappadocia to start our shootings respecting the schedule. FPS was very fast and professional.

I was expecting more “exotic” service, didn’t know the market in Turkey at all instead I met professionals on the top level. I felt super comfortable with this production which wasn’t easy. Finding good location was a task because had to find something that looks like Poland in Istanbul. You found it. People on the set, security of the street was all great, so… What can I say? You have great team that has a huge potential, all the time being there I felt that you work like one organism.

I would say FPS did a great job overall and can handle any type of production. I absolutely loved Istanbul. Growing up in a big city myself, I found it to have every possible amenity that a major city should have and more. It was wonderful to see a city thriving in modern convenience as well as retaining its own culture and traditions. My set experience was a very pleasant one. FPS performed as a production company should, with an obvious heavy level of experience. The production overall was excellent. The transitions from shooting TV to print happened very seamlessly which was a major concern of the agency and client… I would love to opportunity to work with them again and shoot in Istanbul.

I was delighted by the shear spectrum of Istanbul. Historic intertwines modern, contemporary surrounds classic. It truly is the crossroads of the world. The city has a pulse not unlike New York that you feel as soon as you arrive. Because Istanbul actually straddles Europe and Asia, we visually had the best of both worlds for our ‘location set’, which translated into amazing production values especially with the use of the drone camera.

We were very surprised of the beauty of Istanbul. It's such a beautiful and interesting city. With a lot of friendly and creative people. We had a difficult start but at the end I think we obtained what we wanted to have. I think communication was a bit difficult in Art Department, but from the moment we knew what we had to do it all went 'smoothly'. We were very happy with our 1st AD Aylin, the grip crew was really fantastic, such a hard workers! The first time we saw one of our fly guy's blowing up was pretty 'horrible', at that point we thought 'we gonna have major problems'. Luckily FPS found us new people to make good fly guys.... the proportions were not right. Also the fact that our workspace for art department on the first day was a citypark was quite unusual to us, but fun. Specially with the fantastic weather we had. It was a tough shoot with a beautiful result.

My experience was great. All crew, people, everyone was great to deal with. Pretty good standard, which was good. No surprises and everything was run professionally. Shooting through the bazaar was fun, especially stealing shots without people noticing. Shooting the balloons in Cappadoccia was fun also… I wish I wasn’t working so I could enjoy it.
